Apart from the specific use for heating oil, the nozzle can be used in the MTD for all oils, the viscosity of 5 cSt (1.4 ° E) does not exceed. The MTD-type HO (see following) may also cst for oils with a viscosity of up to 13 (2.1 ° E) are used.

Selection
The series includes 51 MTD flow rates of 1.5 l / h to 378.5 l / h (0.40 to 100 U.S. GPH). When using fuel oil at normal operating temperature, the throughput can vary by about 1%. The throughput increases with the viscosity.
Operating Pressure
The MTD will die at an operating pressure of 7 bar tested with fuel oil (see flow chart on the following page). The recommended operating pressure for nozzles MTD (run with light fuel oil) is between 6 and 25 bar (higher pressures, please consult us). For liquids with greater viscosity can with an operating pressure of 10 – to work bar 14th The spray angle is reduced drastically (strong), unless you used jets, which were designed specifically for such purposes (see nozzle MTD-HO).
Nozzle filter made of sintered bronze
These filters, which all nozzles of 0.40 – 1.00 GPH are equipped to achieve a very good filtering (filter fineness 25-50 microns). This filter has great advantages for the Protection of nozzles with low flow rates (below 1.00 GPH). The collection of small bronze beads forms a series of obstacles, which has a much better result than simple filtering sieve filters. Thus, the delicate inner parts of the small jets are filtering better protected. This filter can withstand high temperatures.
Nozzle with mesh filter
